Cape Streams - Guided Flyfishing
The freestone rivers of the Western Cape offer fantastic fly fishing for wild rainbow and brown trout. The rivers flow through valleys of the picturesque Limietberg Nature Reserve and are situated approximately an hour’s drive from Cape Town.
This reserve is maintained by Cape Nature Conservation, and all flyfishing on the rivers are managed by the Cape Piscatorial Society. The clear streams allow for sight fishing to holding trout, while wet wading and fishing dry flies and nymphs.
In addition to the fantastic flyfishing, the area boasts a variety of indigenous flora and fauna, found within the breathtaking mountain setting.
Join us for a day’s guided flyfishing with one of our experienced local guides on our magical Cape streams. We keep to a maximum of two flyfishing guests per guide, can provide transport to and from our shop, will sort out all necessary permits, and have equipment to rent in case you need it. From beginners to experienced fly fishermen, we look forward to spending a day on the rivers with you.
The Cape Streams flyfishing season is open from the 1st of September to the 31st of May annually (closed June-July-August). Contact us now to make a booking!
