Scientific Anglers took one of their most popular tapers, the Titan, drenched it in various mixtures of tungsten powder, and created a triple-density sinking fly line that will absolutely change the way you fish streamers forever. This is a fully tapered sinking line, so it casts like a floater, but provides a straight-line sinking connection to your streamer. The days of chucking and ducking are finally over. Welcome to the triple-density revolution.
Loads quickly and delivers the biggest flies to the furthest targets
Excellent turnover due to short, powerful head
Triple density construction provides straight-line connection to fly
Shooting Texture reduces friction, providing longer casts, easier pick-up, and increased durability
For temperate climates
Braided multifilament core
Sink Rates: Hover = 1.00 ips | Sink 2 = 1.75 – 2.75 ips | Sink 4 = 4.0 – 5.0 ips

How can something be clear and camouflaged? That’s easy. Scientific Anglers took a mottled core, doused it with our new, supple clear coating, and we had the SONAR Stillwater Clear Camo.
Designed for the unique demands of stillwater angling, the Clear Camo simply disappears beneath the surface, and features a slow, intermediate sink rate to tempt fish sitting just below the chop.
Designed specifically for the demands of stillwater anglers
Based on popular MPX taper
Overweighted by a full line weight for multiple flies and long leaders
Full intermediate (1.25 ips) line over camouflage core for the ultimate in stealth
Features all-new supple clear material for reduced memory
All purpose sinking line
If there's a better way to fish lakes and ponds than with a full-sinking line, we haven't found it. The Frequency Full Sink is the perfect sinking fly line for stillwater anglers; it handles streamers and wet flies with aplomb, cuts through the wind, and features a mid-length head for great line control. We built the Frequency Full Sink with two sink rates and the idea that great subsurface lines don't have to cost a fortune.
Especially effective for fishing streamers
Thin diameter cuts through wind
Ideal for use in stillwater situations
Front welded loop on Sink 3; Sink 6 includes braided loop connection
Mid-length head for enhanced line control
Sink Rates: 2.5 – 4.0 ips (Sink 3)
Sink Rate: 5.0 – 6.0 ips (Sink 6)
Monofilament core
As true masters of the sinking line technology, remember we’re the guys who created density compensation, low stretch cores, and a standardized sink rate system. So it’s no surprise that we’ve taken this cutting edge range of lines a step further.
Knowing how much line you have left in the water is one of the keys to successful sunk line fishing. With our new “Hang Marker“ system, you have colour coded marks on your line that clearly tell you how much is still down there. Sunk line fishing just got a whole lot easier.
A perfect line for those new to the sport or just getting back into it.
With its user friendly taper design, the long rear taper allows the line to grow with you as you improve and increase your casting range.
Velocity lines have many of the features found on our premium lines, available in Floating, Clear Intermediate, and Fast Sinking.
For fishing flies just below the surface
One day, long ago, in a kingdom far, far away, we dreamed up a line that would sink, but not sink too much, one that would simply hover beneath the surface.
Fast forward thousands of years and the SONAR Stillwater Hover sinking fly line was born.
Built with an extra-slow sink rate, the Hover is downright nasty when it comes to fishing streamers with a slow retrieve. It’s a legend, at least in our own minds.
Designed specifically for the demands of stillwater anglers
Based on popular MPX taper
Overweighted by a full line weight for multiple flies and long leaders
Extra-slow sinking hover (1 ips) for fishing the film

The needs of stillwater anglers can vary significantly from those on streams and rivers. For a line to be effective in the uniquely challenging world of stillwater fishing, some serious considerations need to be taken in to the design.
The Sixth Sense Intermediate line features Airflo’s classic Delta Taper design. With its long front taper, it will present flies delicately at any distance without overly disturbing the quiet, still water. Its longer overall length allows for fishing effectively at both long and medium distances The rear taper has been clearly marked for a visual cue about the best “haul zone” when making the big casts.
The Sixth Sense Intermediate is available in sizes 5wt to 9wt and features our Power Core technology for positive hooksets and minimal memory. Both slow intermediate (.5″ per second) and fast intermediate (1.5″ per second) versions are available to help you dial in the perfect depth to find the “feeding zone.”
The Sixth Sense 2 Sinking Fly Line range has been designed to meet the specific needs of the Stillwater fly angler, the long front taper excels with teams of flies, creating the perfect balance between delicacy and distance — a must for stillwater.
It’s low stretch core puts you in direct contact with your flies. Precision controlled sink rates up to 8ips (Di 8).
