This handy gauge fits most vise stems.
To determine hackle size simply bend the hackle around the pin at the bottom of the gauge. The hackle will flare out and the tips will indicate on the curved graph the correct size hackle.
To determine hook size simply place the hook on the hooks pictured on the gauge.
The Hackle and Hook Gauge Griffiths will rotate freely on the vise stem so it may be swung out of the way when not in use.It will correctly identify size 4-22 hackles and 4-16 hook sizes.

Great little scissor designed to cut the new age braid and synthetic lines.
If you use braid for backing or terminal tackle, this is a must.
Many tyers use braid to attach stinger hooks to my large streamers... so naturally one should have this scissor handy on your tying bench for this task.

This series is based on the Big Three and on a simple concept.
Picking flat scissors up from a flat surface is no fun, and sliding them across your bench to get them in your hand is a time killer.
By placing a bend in the middle of the scissor, the problem of picking up is solved.
Handles and performs just like a regular straight scissor. Excellent with natural materials and can handle most synthetics.
